2025–2026 BOOM Chapbook Contest

We’re opening the BOOM Chapbook Contest early in order to find the next best thing. What are we looking for? A certain something special. Something that is raw or cooked, hashed out or blown up, festive or frugal. Poetry. A poetic sequence. A poetry bridge to the undead. A song poem ensemble. Prose. Short fiction. Short short fiction. Microfiction. Nanofiction. Novella. A collection of essays. Odd works in self portraiture. Comic one-liners for murder hornets. A mix of all of these / none of these. Entrance fee $15. All those who enter get a copy of the winner or any chapbook from our back catalogue.
